Winter adventure on Saturday evening

High above Chur

Every Saturday during the evening hours from 4 January to 1 March 2025, a special all-round winter experience is offered at Brambrüesch, Chur's local mountain.

Winter dream over Chur

Just a short ride on the mountain railway from the Alpine city of Chur is all it takes to immerse yourself in the winter splendour of Brambrüesch. After a torch-lit winter hike to the Älplibar (approx. 30 minutes), enjoy an aperitif there. After that, it's on to the Bergbaiz, where a delicious fondue awaits you. The crowning finale is the toboggan run down to the Känzeli middle station, from where the mountain railway will take you back to the city.

Information about the Saturday evening winter experience

  • Cableway Chur – Brambrüesch and return (departure from the valley station no later than 6 pm)
  • Torch-lit winter hike to the Älplibar (approx. 30 to 45 mins.)
  • Aperitif in the Älplibar (from 7 pm)
  • Sledging run Älplibar – Bergbaiz (approx. 5 to 10 mins.)
  • Fondue party at the Bergbaiz (from 8.30 pm)
  • Sledging run from the Bergbaiz to the Känzeli middle station (departure no later than 9.30 pm, approx. 20 to 30 min.) *

* If there is insufficient snow, the offer will be provided without the tobogganing (but with a longer winter hike). In this case, the return journey is possible from the Brambrüesch mountain station or the Känzeli middle station.

Bei der Talstation Chur können Schlitten für CHF 10.00 gemietet werden, die Ausgabe erfolgt an der Bergstation der 4er-Gondelbahn. Die Rückgabe der Schlitten erfolgt in der Mittelstation Känzeli.

Warme Winterkleidung (gutes Schuhwerk, Handschuhe, Kopfbedeckung) sowie allenfalls eine Stirnlampe für die Schlittelabfahrt. 

Eine Reservation für das Samstagabend Erlebnis ist in der Bergbaiz unter www.bergbaiz.ch erforderlich.

Das Angebot kann von Einzelpersonen aber auch Gruppen gebucht werden.
(für Gruppen mit Voranmeldung für eine Spezialfahrt auch an anderen Wochentagen).
